This what was called Bilingual Education

The first factor in appearing this issue is the world of the twenty first century is inescapably bicultural and multicultural. Prensy (2012) said that bilingual is situation appears at native era that has communication between human by major then second language or foreign language. Therefore, blilingual is term that indicates how aspects of life were used in two languages; it could be multilingual if it were more than two languages. This even could be digital native-era that can cause real and virtual relationship. In Indonesia, this system has already happen in some school that role as pilot project.
The history
Before this mentioned century there are communication happen between people in the world, so there are many reason for building this bilingual term (Lewis:1976). These are the fact:
-          Rome  teach Greek in school was also using Greek alphabet without controversial
-          Luxembourg and European school
The system (Immersion)
Does bilingual education work? This is a fact that in the earlier 1960’s day of declaration for official languages acts in Quebec, Canada. The French Canadian whose taught in Canada’s kindergarthen? The limitation of teacher makes them transferring teacher and produce bilingual, but they have complain about that. Next, it was so many Christian French school, Christian Canada school etc, they were at the same curriculum.
The Nationalism correlation
Hornberger (2001) said that the concept of one nation one language, signaling unification. But denationalization caused by bilingual is never occurred for a number of major language world languages such as English, Spanish, and Russian which destruct the world. In our country, that thing is also happen.
Language Policy
According to the policies in Indonesia, the establishment of bilingual education compound in Content/ SI (standar isi) and SKL about x agreement;

1. Generic structure for English subject in International Standard School/ SBI areSNP+X1,X2,X3,X4, dan X5
2. X¹:    English is language used related to teach English, maths, science and technology, and communication outside class.
3. X²:    English subject being taught has to be related with general subjects.
4. X³:    English taught by facilites of information and technology center.
5. X⁴:    Also have to taken cross culture understanding.
6. X⁵:    English accomplish the growth of children’s intelligence.
